IT WAS back to normality this week with all four Divisions of the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs and Clubs leagues in action.

In the Bull and Bush Division One, The Bull and Bush Lions were unable to take any serious advantage of the Bottom Railway BA having the bye as they lost 5-4 away to Ring O Bells LH, Steve Hopkins with a 180 and 120 finish. This leaves the Bottom Railway still two points clear with two games in hand.

Barrow Cons Waggs Gang made the biggest impact in the top three beating Three Crowns Mick the Flicks 8-1 Vern Seaton with a 148 finish. They remain third 1 point behind the Lions with a game in hand and three behind the Bottom Railway although they have played a game more.

Bush Rejects continue their resurgence with a 8-1 victory over the Spot on Waifs and Strays and the Royal Oak Shooters won 7-2 away at Windmill Exiles, Conor Ferguson with a 180 for the Windmill exiles.

In the Spot on Division Two, The Plough Thorpe Acre are still top with a 8-1 win over the Windmill Blue Army. However the Three Nuns Bluemoon Foxes are only four points behind with two games in hand. They remain unbeaten and gained their second 9-0 victory in successive weeks beating Windmill A’s. The Bull and Bush Laughing Boys are now seven points clear in third after their 6-3 Bush Derby win over the Bull and Bush Counts,

Spot on LSU 26ers beat The Top Railway Riddled with Dartitis 5-4 and the Spot on Derby between Sexy and we Throw it and Guys and Gals was postponed.

in the Three Nuns Division Three, Royal Oak Old Uns are 12 points clear at the top after their 7-2 away win at the Three Crowns Hathern. The Three Nuns Albions are second with the same winning margin at home to the Three Nuns Left Footers. John Robinson hitting a maximum for the Albions.

Third placed is now tied between the two Shepshed sides in the Division The Crown winning 6-3 at home to the Peacock A-Team and The Black Swan won away by the same score at the Generous Briton Beerleg. Alex Burton with a 180 for the Swan.

In the Generous Briton Division 4 The Top Railway Laffables are still seven points clear after their 5-4 win over The Boat Inn. Kieran Bird - Doust with a 180 for the Laffables. Barrow Cons Club Convicts are second after their 8-1 win in the Barrow Cons Club derby over Discombobu­lated and The Hathern Club are third after their 6-3 win away at Spot on Foxes.

The Three Nuns Bad Habits had a bye and The Plough Ernies have withdrawn from the league and all fixtures from now on against them will be treated as a bye.

Finally the draw for the next rounds of the Knockout Cup and Plate will take place this Thursday at The Spot On.
