WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. The Oaks WI will start meeting again on Thursday February 3 at 2.30pm (a new time) in the Oaks Storer Hall, Oaks Road, LE12 9YD.

ALL SOULS SERVICE. An All-Souls Service is to be held at St James’ the Greater Church, Oaks in Charnwood, on Sunday February 6 at 4 pm with Rev John Bird.

A church spokesman said: “At this service we will remember our loved ones who have died, some recently and others long ago.

“A list has been made available in St James Church for the names of your loved ones to be included closing date Sunday (January 30).

“Or you can contact the Parish Office on 01509 502255 or email office@ shepshedan­doaks.co.uk if you would like your loved one’s name read out at this service. “

MOTHERS’ UNION. The Oaks Mothers’ Union will reconvene with its annual general meeting on Monday, February 21 at 2.30pm at Oaks Storer Hall.
