Could you lead way now Tina is retiring from popular Petpals?

- By STAFF REPORTER

A popular pet-care business owner is retiring after more than 10 years caring for the pets of Loughborough and she is looking for someone to take the lead with the service.

In November 2009, Tina Fisher fulfilled her dream by starting up Petpals Loughborough, after spending 18 years in administrative roles.

Accompanied by her five dogs and four cats, including her miniature dachshund Herbie, Tina has capitalised on her love of pets to build a successful business.

Petpals is said to offer industryleading services in dog walking, pet sitting and pet taxis - for your pet’s safe trip to your local vets.

However, due to ill health, Tina has made the difficult decision to retire from the business in March.

Between them, Tina and her team have years of pet-care experience with a love of pets at the forefront of everything they do.

Her passion for pet-care has led to her contributing to the wider local community by working closely with worthy causes.

An example of this is Tina’s work with dog and cat rescue shelters.

Tina said: “We have a committed, determined and passionate team here at Petpals who make a real difference to the care of pets in the local community. I am so proud of what we have accomplished, and I cannot wait to see where the business goes in the future.

“To be able to go beyond the important service we offer and to contribute in a wider way by helping feed vulnerable animals with our annual Christmas food drive has been a particular highlight of mine.”

With Tina is retiring, Petpals is seeking a replacement who will continue to provide pet-care service in Loughborough and the surrounding area.

“With the massive rise in pet ownership in the UK, it has never been more important to have experts offering services who really love pets,” said Tina.

“I’m really keen to offer my support to the next owner of the business and will work with them for a month following the takeover.

“I’ve been blessed to share this incredible journey with my staff who all share my passion for pet-care. I want to thank everyone who I have worked with at Petpals Loughborough, for their immense contribution, as well as our loyal customers who have trusted us with looking after their pets for over 10 years.”
