BISHOP BEVERIDGE CLUB. Our Fun Quiz today (February 9) will take place half an hour later at 3pm.

The AGM held recently was very well attended and we were very pleased to welcome two members came forward to join our Committee of Trustees.

The Pancake Day lunch being held on Tuesday March 1, booking list is in the Club on the notice board, the cost is £4.00 and payment required on booking please.

The book loaning scheme has many new books to borrow, don’t forget to have a look when attending events. The same goes for our Jigsaw Loan Scheme, just ask any committee member to open the cupboard and see whet is available, Both schemes are free to use.

The next Movie Monday will be held on February 21, starting at 2pm, with doors opening at 1.30pm. The price remains at £4.00 for members and £4.50 for visitors who are most welcome. This months film is ‘ The Last Bus’ starring Timothy Spall and Phyllis Logan, follows an old gentleman’s ( Timothy Spall) journey across tyhe country just using his bus pass.

We are in the process of preparing the next Newsletter which will be issued in early March. Just a reminder that we are no longer delivering to members, but copies will be available for collection at the Club and the Community Library. The next few months coach trips will be confirmed up till August.

SURGERY. Your Borough and County Councillor­s Pauline Ranson and Hilary Fryer will be holding a surgery on Saturday February 19. They will be at the Parish Council offices from 10am until 11am. Please fee free to come along, no appointmen­t is necessary.
