Bull and Bush Lions have lead cut to four points

THE second half of the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs and Club’s darts League sponsored by Spot on began on Thursday night.

Bull and Bush Lions remain top of Division One beating Royal Oak Shooters 5-4 however their lead at the top was reduced to four points with Ring O Bells LH winning 9-0 away at bottom of the table Bull and Bush Laughing boys. Steve Hopkins and Anthony Greasley with 180’s for the Shooters. In the Lions and Shooters game Kev Thomas hit a 180 for the Shooters and Kev Bryan for the Lions.

Despite defeat Bottom Railway DS remain third as they were beaten by fourth placed Barrow Cons Club Waggs Gang. Darren Wagg with a 180 for Waggs Gang.

They leap frogged Bush Rejects as their three game unbeaten run came to an end with Three Nuns Blue Moonfoxes beating them 6-3. Steve Burton with a maximum for the Rejects and Paul Williams with a 123 finish for the Three Nuns. In the other game in the league Barrow Cons Club Mick the Flicks beat Fat Sam Exiles 5-4. Jakob Selby- Rivas with a 180 for Mick the Flicks.

Spot on Beauties and the Beasties have opened up a 19 point lead in Division Two with a 7-2 home win against The Plough Hopefuls. Michael Sciepanow with a 180 for the Spot on. Three Nuns Albion after their 7-2 defeat to Top Railway Laffables and Spot on Foxes share second place after their 5-4 defeat at Three Nuns Blue Army.

Crown and Black Swan Jolly Sailors beat the Royal Oak Old Un’s 5-4.

Three Nuns Doubleitus have a four point advantage in Division Three with a 5-4 away win over Payne’s Army. Jack Bradley with a 180 for the Three Nuns. Swan in the Rushes A have a game in hand also won 5-4 against The Dewdrop. Michael Drew with a 114 finish for the Swan in the Rushes.

Fat Sam’s 26ers are three points clear of the Spot on Waifs and Strays in third, after their 7-2 win over Three Crowns Hathern. Andy Bryan’s with a 105 finish for the 26ers.

The Waifs and Strays lost 5-4 to the Fennel Dartaholic­s and The Peacock A-Team beat Bull and Bush County 6-3. Dave Hines with a maximum for the Peacock.

The White Horse Won Tons have a 10 point lead and a game in hand at the head of Division Four with a 7-2 away win at The Boating Boyz. After a six game unbeaten run Black Swan B Team are second despite the run coming to an end losing 5-4 to the Barrow Cons Club 26ers. They are joint third with Greenfield Wildcats who lost 5-4 to the White Hart Stags. Both the 26ers and Wildcats have a game in hand on the Swan. David Ottewell with a 114 finish for the Stags .

Three Nuns No Habits beat the Spot on No Stars 6-3 and Tap and Clapper beat the Barrow Cons Club Discontinu­ed 7-2. Graham Oakley with a 180 and Chris Collins with a 116 finish for the Tap and Clapper.

Next week sees the Quarter Finals of the Division One and Two and Division Three and Four Knockout Cups with the chance with teams not in cup action to catch up with games in hand.
