SHEPSHED Dynamo bounced back from two defeats without scoring and with three secondhalf goals moved back to 10th place in the Pitching in Northern Premier League Midland Division.

In an even first half Jadahn Fridye-Harper did well to intercept Sporting Khalsa’s top goal scorer Miracle Okafor on three minutes and Okafor went close a minute later heading over.

In a half which could have gone either way, Jiah Medrano’s corner was met by the head of Niall Prenderville only to be cleared off the line on eight minutes.

Khalsa came close as Kieran

Whittaker’s free kick was saved by Ganley on 19 minutes - a minute later Whittaker fired over.

Kairo Edwards-John had a shot deflected wide on 23 minutes and as Shepshed came more into the game Medrano’s long throw was cleared off the line with the rebound hitting the crossbar.

Zayn Hakeem then fired wide on 32 minutes and two minutes later Harry Cunningham’s was saved by Ganley and Okafor fired into Shepshed’s keeper.

As the half came to a close Morris went narrowly opening the score for Shepshed and Ganley clawed the ball from under the bar to leave the score deadlocked at half-time.

A game which could have gone either way with Khalsa having the first chance of the second half, Jordan Wakeling, who along with Jordan Smith marshalled Dynamo’s back line, intercepted Touameni Side on 53 minutes.

Shepshed started to play the football their fans are used to; Kairo Edwards-John and Can Moore combined well on 66 minutes with Moore firing over. A minute later Edwards-John, Hakeem and Cam Moore produced a flowing move with Reece Morris opening the scoring.

Shepshed doubled their lead on 78 minutes from a ball from the left-hand-side, John King’s perseverance after an initial save from Sam Arnold made it two and it was 3-0 minutes later when Snedden fed Hakeem to fire home.
