All change at top of Division One

THERE was a near full compliment of league fixtures bar one postponeme­nt in the Spot on Sponsored Loughborou­gh and District Pubs and Clubs Darts League on Thursday evening.

The lead changed hands in Division One as the Ring O Bells LH returned to the top with a 7-2 home win over the Royal Oak Shooters. Rich Greasley with a 138 finish for the Ring O Bells. They hold a one point lead over the Bull and Bush Lions who lost 5-4 at home to fellow Bush side the Rejects. Steve Burton with a 180 for the Rejects. Barrow Cons Club Waggs Gang moved up to third and with a game in hand are twelve points behind the Lions after their 7-2 win over the Bull & Bush Laughing Boys. Dave Cox and Mark Wagg with 180’s for Waggs Gang. After a 6-3 defeat at Fat Sams Exiles the Bottom Railway DS drop to fourth. Connor Ferguson with a 107 finish for the Exiles and Dean Maxwell a 180 for the Railway. The other result in the division saw Barrow Cons Club Mick the Flicks win 7-2 away at Three Nuns Bluemoon Foxes. Paul Williams with a 180 for the Foxes and Johny Bryan with a 115 and Darren Maccall with a 113 finish for Mick the Flicks.

The top two met in Division Two and the Black Swan Jolly Sailors reduced the gap at the top to 10 points as they beat leaders Spot on Beauties & the Beasties 6-3. Spot on Foxes hold third place a further five points behind after their 5-4 win over the Royal Oak Old Uns. The Plough hopefuls are close behind after their 7-2 win over the Three Nuns Albion. In the all Top Railway affair the Laffables beat Keep the Faith 7-2 and the Three Nuns Blue Army beat The Crown Shepshed 5-4. Paul Hodges with a 180 for The Crown.

Despite defeat the Three Nuns Doubleitus hold a six point lead in Division Three they lost 6-3 to Fat Sam 26ers who have moved joint second with two games in hand. The other team on sixty eight points in second are the Swan in the Rushes A who also have a game in hand on the Three Nuns they also lost 8-1 to Fennel Dartaholic­s. The Dewdrop also won 8-1 against the Peacock A-Team. Dave Hines with a 180 for the Peacock. The Spot on Waifs & Strays hold fourth place after their 5-4 win at Hathern Three Crowns and the Bull & Bush County beat Paynes Army 7-2.

The White Horse Won Tons game was postponed against Green field Wildcats but they still lead Division Four by 10 points. The Black Swan B Team are second with a 7-2 away win at White Hart Stags. Three points behind them are Three Nuns No Habits who beat Barrow Cons Club Disconbobu­lated 6-3. Martin Smith with a 120 finish for the No Habits. Barrow Cons Club 26ers are next after their 5-4 win at home to Spot No Stars and The Boating Boyz beat the Tap & Clapper 6-3.
