SUPPORT FUND. Mountsorrel United Charities and the Mountsorrel Community Support Fund are looking for up to four local people to join their friendly board of charity trustees. You must be familiar with and have an interest in the village, either through living here or through your work. You will be asked to attend 8 evening meetings per year.

We welcome applications from anyone who meets our person specification, however, the following are currently under-represented on our board:

• People with financial skills and experience

• People with legal knowledge and experience

• People with professional experience of property sale, lease or purchase

MEETINGS OF THE PARISH COUNCIL/COMMITTEES: Monday, June 5: Planning & Policy committee at 7pm in the Memorial Centre; Monday June 12: Full Council meeting at 7pm in the Parish Rooms;

Monday June 19:

Memorial Centre committee at 7pm in the Memorial Centre. Members of the public have a legal right to attend the parish council meetings as well as any extraordinary or committee meetings.

Soul, £8.00; Wednesday May 31: The Giant’s Loo Roll (Children’s musical) £12.00 adult, £10.00 child. Friday June 2: The Jerseys, £22.00, £20.00 concessions. Friday June 23: Legends of Motown, £20.00.
