Update an old favourite using vintage florals and colourful threads

MATERIALS

Denim jacket

Stranded cotton: 1 skein each of light emerald, dark grey, light jade, mint, bright pink, peachy pink, red, white, butter yellow and lemon yellow Basic embroidery kit

STITCHES USED

Backstitch, French Knot,

Lazy Daisy Stitch, Running Stitch, Satin Stitch, Straight Stitch, Variated Backstitch

INSTRUCTIONS

Transfer the design from the template onto the back of the jacket using your preferred method, taking care to position it centrally. If your jacket has vertical seams on the back, position the design between these seams. To embroider the design, refer to the Embroidery Guide on the opposite page for stitch and colour placement. Use three strands of thread throughout the design.
