TIPS AND TRICKS

This project is easy to customise to suit your preferred colour scheme. A simple way to try out a new colourway is to transfer the design onto a piece of paper and then colour it in with your chosen shades. Then, you can use that as a new embroidery guide.

If you’re finding Split Stitch a little tricky to work, try using Split Backstitch instead – this will let you split the thread from the front of your work, rather than trying to guess with your needle coming through from the back.
