Feather Stitch

Bring the needle up at 1, then down at 2 without pulling the needle all the way through the fabric. Bring the needle up at 3, over the thread of the previous stitch, then pull it through to create a ‘V’ shape. Then, take the needle down at 4 and up at 5, again going over the thread. Repeat, alternating from left to right.
