If you’re using a non-erasable method to transfer your design onto the fabric (such as a pencil), ensure you cover the transfer lines completely with stitches otherwise they will be visible in the finished design.

When working Satin Stitch, make sure you pull your thread all the way through the fabric each time before beginning the next stitch. This ensures a more even tension overall.
