-

Cut the main fabric in half to create two 01 pieces measuring 38x34cm, and then repeat for the lining (creating two pieces measuring 44x34cm). Transfer the designs from the templates onto one of the main pieces of fabric using your preferred method. FISH

Begin stitching the fish by filling the stripes

with vertical Satin Stitch using six strands of green. Work the stripes in even rows to create the ribbed effect. Then, sew the eye in horizontal Satin Stitch using four strands of black and white. Using Backstitch, add the mouth in four strands of black and the tail stripes in six strands of green. Then, work the fin in diagonal Satin Stitch using four strands of yellow. Finish by filling the body and tail

with Split Stitch in four strands of yellow. JELLYFISH 02

For the jellyfish, stitch the eyes first in

vertical Satin Stitch using four strands of the black and white. Then, add the mouth using Backstitch in four strands of black. Fill in the rest of the jellyfish using Brick Stitch in four

strands of light pink, working the Brick Stitch sparsely to create a translucent appearance.

Use Satin Stitch in four strands of light pink to add the dots of the tentacles. CRAB

Use four strands of thread to work all of the crab. Start by adding the eyes using Satin Stitch in black and white. Then, using red, fill the body and pincers with Brick Stitch, and then add the legs using Split Stitch.

STARFISH AND SHELL 04

To work the starfish and shell, use

Backstitch and all six strands of thread.

Stitch the shell in white and light pink and then the starfish in yellow. Then, work a series of French Knots lines on the starfish’s body

using six strands of orange.
