Machine embroidery
Escaping to the coast doesn’t have to involve a three-hour car journey! Sarah Lyte’s machine-stitched landscape is transporting us to the ocean from the comfort of our sofas while encouraging us to appreciate the natural spaces on our doorsteps. In her project, Sarah teaches us how to layer textures to create depth in a frame. And for our second machine make, also boasting outdoor appreciation, Talia Bills-Moore’s summer lantern is calling out for garden parties and al fresco dining. Talia makes the appliqué process so easy and fun, we’re envisioning beautiful batches of these lanterns… Turn the page to start both projects!
