Crossed Sloping Blanket Stitch

Bring the needle up at 1, then down at 2. Come up at a 45-degree angle (at 3) with the thread under the needle. Then, go down at 4 and up at 5 (at a 45-degree angle in the opposite direction), again catching the thread. Go down at 6, then up at 5. Now, go down at 2 and up at 7, once more catching the thread. Continue in this way.
