Cut out the transfer and iron it onto the apron. Move the design around before pressing in place to find the best position on your chosen apron.
Begin stitching by working the muzzle, arms, legs, and body outlines using Backstitch in two strands of dark chestnut brown.
Next, use Satin Stitch in two strands to work the body in light tan, spines in light brown, and then the eyes and nose in dark chestnut brown.
Now, working in four strands of blue-grey, stitch the sparkles that are scattered around the hedgehog using five Straight Stitches per star.
To finish, secure the ends of the stitches and then cover the reverse of your stitching with iron-on interfacing (this is for added protection, but is optional).
