If your felt is thin enough, you may be able to transfer the template lines onto it using a lightbox and heat-erasable pen. If you are struggling to see the template details, then freehand draw the elements using the template as a reference for placement as you go.

Using wool felt is generally better than acrylic because it’s softer and easier to stitch on.
