TIPS & TRICKS

-

This project has been designed using an even number of thread strands throughout. This is to allow you to use the loop start method, helping to avoid knots on the back of your work. Turn to p66 for our guide on using this method.

To make a blended shade, take the required number of strands (as stated in the step instructions) from each thread colour and combine them together. The best way to do this is to cut all the pieces to the same lengths, split them and then distribute them as necessary.

This means you’ll still be stitching with the total required number of strands (e.g. six strands; four of pink and two of light pink) but will achieve a variegated effect.
