Scallop Stitch

Bring the needle up 1 and then down 2 without pulling through

the fabric. Bring the needle up again 3, over the thread of the first stitch and pull through. Make a very small stitch (4), similar to a couching stitch, to secure the ‘V’ shape. This is similar to Fly Stitch,

but the final stitch should be very small to create a scallop shape.
