LOUISA BURTONSHAW

Louisa is a full-time embroidery artist, and pattern and kit maker, who is passionate about using sustainable materials. She has a degree in textile design and embroidery and worked for many years as an interior designer before rediscovering her love of embroidery. Now, from her Warwickshire studio, she sells kits, patterns, and accessories through her online embroidery store, Stitch Happy.

Her one-woman mission to share a love of embroidery has grown into a thriving business, with a focus of helping others discover the joy of making as well as giving them a calming outlet and creative way to relax. When she’s not packing up kits, planning out new designs, or researching the most eco-friendly packaging and materials out there, you’ll likely find her in her garden tending to her veg patch and feeding her chickens!
