New mission for JLR and Bond
Jaguar Land Rover is an official partner of the unique 007 Elements experience in the Austrian Alps. Based at the summit of the imposing Gaislachkogl mountain in Sölden next to the Ice Q bar – the location used as the Hoffler Klinik in the film Spectre – the experience is the first-ever immersive, interactive James Bond cinematic installation.
Visitors can not only expect epic views from the 10,000fthigh venue overlooking the Ötztal Alps, but will be guided through a series of high-tech interactive galleries, ‘each distilling the craft and signature elements that define a James Bond film’ featuring JLR technical content along with the Defender and Range Rover Sport SVR used for filming the dramatic kidnap scene in Spectre.
You’ll also get to see the latest JLR technology with artificial intelligence systems and 90kwh lithium-ion battery from an electric Jaguar I-PACE performance SUV used to power a wireframe model of the C-X75 concept car that starred in a spectacular car chase through Rome in the film.
The experience opens on 12 July and costs from €22 (€54 including the return gondola ride to it). For more details go to 007elements.com.
