LRO (UK) - - Used & Abused - USED BY JÉRÔME ANDRÉ INTERNATIONAL EDITOR TESTED FOR ONE YEAR

I‘ve used this waterproofing spray on my hiking boots since they started leaking last year. I just sprayed them three times and left them to dry for 10 minutes between coats. It worked well.

However, although it was effective on smooth leather and fabric boots, it left white spots on my wife’s soft leather boots and my leather golf shoes. To be fair, the label does tell you to sample-test first.

Treating will prolong the life of many items, including Land Rover tilts. The 125ml bottle did three pairs of shoes. The 300ml should cover a 90 pick-up tilt; two for a full soft-top. VERDICT A cheap, effective way to keep fabrics waterproof. Do follow the suggestion to test an area first, though.
