Howarth has the know-how

- GOLF GEOFF GARNETT

THE world’s leading professional training system is now available for local golfers to use at Davenport Golf Club.

Scott Howarth Golf has invested in Trackman Ille, a radar and video analysis system used by PGA Tour professionals, the R&A and the USGA.

The investment has been made with leading local pro Scott Howarth, the only one in the region certified to use the Trackman system.

It means that club golfers will be able to measure and display the full trajectory of any shot they make, with state-of-the-art analysis on swing and ball flight and working with Scott to improve their game.

Davenport professional Tony Stevens said: “This is a modern, progressive club with a strong teaching academy and we’re delighted to work with Scott to provide what is arguably the best coaching facility around.”

Scott added: “This is great news for golfers in the area, it will enable us to help each individual to get the best out of their game.

“I’m delighted to bring it to the club.”
