Police called as man causes disturbanc­e at Jobcentre

A MAN was reprimande­d by police after shouting in the Jobcentre and causing a disturbanc­e.

Two police cars attended the Jobcentre on King Edward Street on Thursday morning after staff reported a disturbanc­e at the branch.

A man was shouting as he walked into the branch.

Officers spoke to the man after complaints about his behaviour but no arrest was made.

A police spokesman said that officers were called at 10.15am on Thursday to the Jobcentre Plus branch.

The spokesman said: “Police attended the Jobcentre in King Edward Street following reports of a disturbanc­e.

“A 21-year-old man was advised about his behaviour.”
