●● AN ARTIST and yoga practition­er is combining her two loves in a new exhibition.

Deborah Ann Graham is hosting a preview for ‘What Colour is your Trikonasan­a?’ at Bollington Arts Centre on Sunday, September 6, from 2pm to 4pm and the paintings exhibition will run until Sunday, October 4. She said: “This exhibition is a reflection of my two passions, art and yoga.”

Bajaly Suso comes from a Gambian family which has passed down the tradition of musiciansh­ip through many generation­s.

He has been playing and singing the traditiona­l songs of the Gambia for almost 20 years.

Dressed in traditiona­l robes, singing ancient songs and telling folk tales of his native land, he will give an entrancing performanc­e of traditiona­l, classical and original kora music at Bollington Arts Centre on Friday, September 4, from 8pm, combined with meditative singing. ●● BOLLINGTON and District Horticultu­ral Society and Flower Club will host its Annual Show on Saturday, September 5. The 51st annual show will feature a variety of contests.

Anyone can enter the classes which include flowers, floral art, baking, preserves, vegetables, fruit, wine and a children’s section.

The closing date for entries is 9pm tonight (September 2).

The show will be held at Bollington Civic Hall on Saturday, between 2pm to 4pm.
