●● BISHOP Libby will visit St Peter’s Church on September 27.

The Rt Rev Libby Lane will join the church for Holy Communion at 10am.

Everyone is invited to advantage of the opportunity to worship alongside the Bishop. ●● ENJOY a hot drink and chat at Prestbury Methodist coffee morning on Saturday.

An event will be held at the Village Hall and will include the usual stalls: Greeting cards; raffle; bric-a-brac; home made cakes; books.

The morning runs from 10am until midday on Saturday (September 26). ●● THE Prestbury WI next meets on Monday, September 28, at 7.30pm.

Alison Walker will give a presentation about her experiences as a puppy walker.

The groups meetings are held at Prestbury Village Hall, on Macclesfield Road, on the last Monday of each month. ●● PRESTBURY primary school is hosting a harvest supper and barn dance.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 3, from 6pm until 10pm.

The Harvest Supper and Barn Dance is a fundrasier this year and everyone is asked to bring items for a ‘bring and share’ supper, and guests are asked to sign up for this on the list at church.

There will be a cash bar from 6pm with Bollington ales, continental lagers, wines and soft drinks.

There will be raffles for adults and children and dancing for all ages, with a live band and caller.

The family childrens dancing will be from 6pm until 7pm, supper will be at 7pm, and adult dancing will begin after supper.

Tickets are available from the church on Sundays.

Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for children.
