Window company gets new premises at business park

HOME improvemen­t company Solfix has taken over East Cheshire Glass and has opened a branch at its premises at Tytheringt­on Business Park.

East Cheshire Glass went into formal liquidatio­n last month and Solfix has acquired a number of its assets, including the name.

East Cheshire Glass will operate out of the Solfix’s existing premises at Tytheringt­on Business Park, with modern offices, factory and showroom facilities.

Ian Moran, managing director, said: “We are delighted to be able to carry on the good name and reputation of East Cheshire Glass, a business that has provided quality products and services throughout East Cheshire for some 30 years.”

He added: “Adding the East Cheshire Glass brand to Solfix shows our commitment to long term supply and service in our region.”

The business will operate out of new premises at Tytheringt­on Business Park. Modern offices, factory and showroom facilities will ensure East Cheshire customers can be well provided for and supported.

The new management team are intending to supply all the services and products that East Cheshire Glass has become well known for, as a long establishe­d glazier, supplier of windows, doors and associated products.

Solfix also has offices in Bramhall.
