ANOTHER fine day at Moss Farm Recreation ground saw mixed results in matches played Macclesfield Ladies FC U15s, U13s, U13 Sylks and U9s.

The U13s enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 victory over Sandbach.

The first half was a competitive affair with Macclesfield dominating possession but unable to break the Sandbach defence.

The second period saw some excellent passing and movement with Hannah Booth breaking the deadlock for Macc and Annabel Cross scoring the second.

The U13s Sylks came up against close rivals Lymm Hawks, in a clash of the top two placed teams in last season’s league.

The first half was a competitive affair, with Macclesfield having the better possession, but unable to make it count.

Macclesfield dominate possession against after the break but a controversial decision robbed them of a deserved draw with Lymm scoring a last-minute winner.

The youngest members of Macclesfield Ladies, the U9s, came up against Middlewich.

A successful and enjoyable morning’s work saw all the goals scored by Libby Doran, with the assists coming from Tatiana Pollard.

Anyone interested in playing football for Macclesfield Ladies can turn up to training on Mondays 7-8pm and Wednesdays 6-7pm at Macclesfield Academy all weather pitch.
