RECENT cases heard at South and East Cheshire magistrate­s’ court: ●● DEAN Roberts, 47, of Garden Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted handling stolen goods. He was given a curfew for three months and ordered to pay compensati­on of £300. ●● AMY Suzanne Stewart, 33, of Bucklow Walk, Macclesfie­ld, admitted being drunk in charge of a child. She was sentenced to 21 days in prison suspended for 12 months. ●● DANIEL James Thorley, 30, Allen Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted drink driving. He was ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work. ●● KIERAN Michael Rae, 21, of Cundliffe Close, Macclesfie­ld, admitted criminal damage and possession of cannabis. He was ordered to complete 60 hours unpaid work. He was also given a restrainin­g order banning him from contacting the victim and entering Abbey Road, Macclesfie­ld. ●● JOANNE Louise Smith, 29, of Nelson Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted shopliftin­g and breaching a community order. She was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison and was ordered to pay £41.32 compensati­on to Tesco. ●● SIMON Andrew Tallen, 30, of Briarwood Avenue, Macclesfie­ld, admitted shopliftin­g. He was fined £175. ●● KIMBERLEY Avery, 32, of Fowler Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted racially aggravated assault on Muguamy Abas and a public order offence. She was ordered to do 160 hours unpaid work and paid £100 compensati­on. ●● WESLEY Iain Dixon, 27, of Peel Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted being drunk and disorderly, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He was ordered to complete 80 hours unpaid work and pay £75 compensati­on.
