The best is yet to come from Rowe

-

MACCLESFIELD Town midfielder Danny Rowe insists he still hasn’t reached his best despite an impressive start to the campaign.

Rowe has been one of the Silkmen’s most influential players so far this season, and scored one of his side’s goals during the 2-1 victory over Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.

While the 23-year-old has been happy with his form so far, he has now set his sights on kicking on and reaching the next level.

“There’s still a lot more to come from me. I’m just getting going and I’m feeling confident but hopefully a lot more goals will come,” he said.

“I’m really happy because I felt like I’ve done well in games but I just haven’t had that final end product and I’ve been working really hard on it.

“It’s good to see it starting to pay off and after Saturday that’s three goals I have now but I want to keep getting more and more by scoring in every game.

“As for the team, you can tell that the football we play is starting to pay off in nearly every game now.

“We have been playing well since the start of the season but we just weren’t finishing.

“Now we’re adding a few goals so we’re starting

to look better. With the players we’ve got we’re a massive footballing team, but we still have big Jack upfront who can bring it down and get us in the game.

“When we play how we can, teams can’t live with us.”
