BREAK-IN ALERT

RESIDENTS are being warned to secure their homes after 20 burglaries over the festive period.

The break-ins across Macclesfield and Poynton were committed between December 18 and January 4.

Police believe the offences could have been carried out by the same gang from another part of Cheshire.
