Disney approval for travel agent
A MACCLESFIELD Travel Agent has become one of the first in the country to get the official approval from Mickey Mouse.
Richard Slater, who runs independent travel agents Personal Travel Agents, is one of just 20 UK Disney Specialist Agents.
He secured the position after submitting a detailed business plan to the family favourite, showcasing his enthusiasm and commitment to customer service.
Disney World in Florida is now the most visited theme park on earth, attracting more than 18m visitors a year.
Its sister park in Paris welcomed more than 14m during 2014 and Richard now hopes to spread a little of the magic to Cheshire.
Richard, who has an office in Macclesfield, said: “Disney holidays are a special time for families, and it’s essential that people know where to go and stay to make the most of their trip, and often their holiday of a lifetime.

Richard, who has been a travel agent for more than 25 years, added that he is the only Disney Specialist in Cheshire.
