●● A HOUSEHOLDER at 24 A Bollin Grove in Prestbury has applied to Cheshire East Council’s planning department for permission to erect a bay window with a gable roof.
The application was an amendment to a previous request to install a flat roof. ●● PRESTBURY Tennis Club will hold a Senior Club Night on Wednesday, January 27 from 6.30 until 10pm.
Players can just turn up and play on the evening at the event, which will have a mixed doubles format.
Balls and floodlights are included.
The event takes place every Wednesday at the same time. ●● UNITED Utilities have given prior notification to Cheshire East Council of the demolition of the Humus Pump House at Macclesfield Waste Water Treatment Works on Butley Lanes.
Demolition plans involve clearing the internal contents of the Pump House, removing any material containing asbestos inside, and demolishing machinery.
The site area will then be levelled. ●● CHESHIRE East Council have approved the demolition of an existing bungalow and the construction of a replacement dwelling at 4 Willowmead Drive, Prestbury. ●● ST PETER’S Church in Prestbury are hosting a music evening in support of charity Christian Aid on Saturday, January 23 at 7.30pm.
The evening will see professional singer-songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones perform.
