Take a seat on soccer pundit Savage’s sofa
FORMER footballer turned pundit Robbie Savage is offering a decent seat to watch England v Wales this summer – his own sofa.
Savage will be away in France covering the Euro 2016 tournament, but he’ll be opening the doors to ‘Savage Towers’ in Prestbury and inviting 20 members of the public in to throw a celebratory Savage Garden Party round at his.
The former Welsh midfielder has teamed up with official sponsor of both national teams, Vauxhall Motors, as part of the car brand’s #GetIN campaign – to encourage the public to get behind their team this summer.
Savage has set some strict rules: hands off his hair products; no feet on the sofa; no touching the animal print Savage bedspread and be polite to guests who may drop in.
Savage said: “Whilst I’m away in France, I need someone to house sit and continue the celebrations for me at home. It’s my favourite place to watch the football. There’s a fully stocked fridge and multiple big screens to catch all the action – it’s a winning combination.”
To be in with a chance of winning a seat on Savage’s sofa, entrants simply need to head to www.vauxhallfootball. co.uk.
