RECENT cases at South and East Cheshire magistrate­s court: ●● LISA Jane Bryce, 46, of Woodlands Drive, Knutsford, admitted theft from Boots in Macclesfie­ld and breaching a court order. She was fined £125. ●● KEITH Duncan Hopkinson, 44, of Farm Road, Oldham, admitted driving while disqualifi­ed and without insurance in Poynton and wilfully obstructin­g a police officer. He was given 250 hours unpaid work and six points. ●● MARK Colin Parkinson, 19, of Belgrave Road, Macclesfie­ld, admitted drug driving, driving without due care and attention, obstructin­g a constable, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. He was ordered to pay £745 in fines and court cost and banned for 15 months. ●● SIMON Robert Taylor, 45, of Park Lane, Macclesfie­ld, admitted drink driving, failing to stop after an accident, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. He was given a 20 day rehabilita­tion activity, fined £360 and banned for two years. ●● DANIEL Ryan Barry, 21, of Ivy Road, Macclesfie­ld, denied assault. He was bailed for the trial on September 13. ●● HOWARD Brian Hughes, 49, of Parklands Way, Poynton, admitted drink driving. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months. He was also banned for three years. ●● RICHARD Paul Walker, 31, of Currer Street, Bradford, admitted drug driving in Poynton. He was fined £150 and banned for 14 months. ●● MARK Christophe­r Cooper, 30, of Warwick Close, Macclesfie­ld, denied two charges of theft. He was bailed for a trial on September 8. ●● HAYDEN Sasha Hendricks, 25, of Cleadon Avenue, Gorton, admitted assault in Macclesfie­ld. He was fined £210 and ordered to pay £200 compensati­on. ●● FLORIN Merlusca, 37, of West Green Road, London, admitted four charges of theft including theft of toiletries from Superdrug in Macclesfie­ld. He was jailed for 40 weeks. ●● BIANCA Dumitru, 18, of Hornbeam Road, Manchester, admitted theft of perfume from Boots in Macclesfie­ld. She was given 150 hours unpaid work. ●● JASON Scott, 47, of Butley Lane, Prestbury, was found not guilty of two charges of assault. ●● KIM Welsby, 43, of Pennington­s Lane, Gawsworth, was found not guilty of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of having driven a vehicle. She admitted failing to surrender to bail. She was fined £60. ●● SIMON Gerald French, 39, of Swettenham Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted two charges of assault. He was bailed for sentence on July 22. ●● ASHLEY Proctor, 26, of Louis Street, Kingston Upon Hull, admitted harassment in Nether Alderley. He was jailed for 14 days. ●● STUART Graham William Clarkson, 46, of Lingfield Close, Tytheringt­on, was found not guilty of two charges of assault. ●● JAMIE Wheeler, 31, of Brough Street West, Macclesfie­ld, was found not guilty of driving without a licence or insurance. ●● KRISTOFER Jean Pierre Groot, 35, of Weller Close, Poynton, denied using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was bailed for a trial on March 28. ●● CHRISTOPHE­R Harding, 54, of Glenheld, Poynton, denied assault. He was bailed for a trial on October 28. ●● MARK Ivan Holland, 57, of London Road South, Poynton, denied using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, and resisting arrest. He was bailed for a trial on March 14. ●● FRANK Roy Marshall, 33, of Hollybank Road, Wilmslow, admitted withholdin­g informatio­n to obtain certificat­e of insurance or security. He was fined £250. ●● ANTHONY William Price, 50, of Coppice Road, Poynton, denied using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was bailed for a trial on March 28. ●● DOMINIC Zammit, 24, of Victoria Park, Stockport, appeared in court charged with arranging an act which would involve sexual activity with a child, and two charges of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He was bailed to Chester Crown Court on July 29. ●● STEPHEN Nicholas Carson Marsh, 25, of no fixed abode, admitted possession of amphetamin­e. He was fined £80. ●● CURTIS James Brooks, 28, of Park Lane, Macclesfie­ld, denied using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was bailed for a trial on July 18.
