ON your favourite local radio station, not only do our presenters interview people involved in the community on-air, but they also interview well-known celebrities from a wide crosssection of the media.

Listen out for Mark Blackman on the Drivetime show every Monday to Thursday between 3pm and 6pm and Nick Wright on the morning show each weekday between 8am and 11am to hear who each week’s interviewees are. If you miss the live interviews, they are also broadcast again throughout the week. Local people who carry out volunteer work for charities, schools, clubs and not-for-profit organisations are interviewed by Brian Moores and Trish Napier.

These are recorded and then played out at regular intervals. If you are carrying out work in the community and would like to come on one of the shows to raise the profile of what you are doing, please get in touch and we will be more than happy to accommodate you at no cost.

We are always looking at ways of extending the opportunities we offer to everyone in the community and our training arm, Canalside’s Phase One Training, offers, gives young people the opportunity to achieve nationally accredited qualifications in conjunction with local schools and colleges.
