Mottram Hall continues winning streak with second gold standard

MOTTRAM Hall staff were all smiles as they celebrated winning a gold award for the second time this year.

The swish hotel, golf and leisure resort has been awarded a VenueVerdict Gold Standard accreditation for both the first and second quarters of the year.

The prestigious Gold Standard accreditations are awarded to the cream of the country’s venues which have meeting rooms and was voted for by hotel users.

The accolades are handed out on a quarterly basis by independent market research agency BDRC Continental.

The venues are selected based entirely on customer feedback received and how likely event hosts will be to recommend the place for a conference or event in the future.

Michael Lavizani, general manager at Mottram Hall, said it was great to win the award.

He added: “The team at Mottram Hall continue to go the extra mile, continuously improving the service for all of our customers and it’s great this is recognised.

“However it is also really important to make sure that we make use of the VenueVerdict feedback in order to inspire and shape our future conference and events offering.“

James Bland, hotels and hospitality director at BDRC Continental, said: “It is fantastic to see eight of the QHotels properties achieving the Gold Standard accreditation.

“This is a real testament to the Mottram Hall team that work so hard to provide their customers with the best possible product and service offering.”

The QHotels group, of which Mottram Hall is a part, was also named number one Large Group in the annual VenueVerdict results announced earlier this year.
