Crumplin gearing up for Euro Tour
GOLFER Josh Crumplin is continuing to go from strength to strength in his career after he was accepted to play on the Euro Pro Tour.
Josh has had a successful career, leading to him turning professional in October and now getting this opportunity.
In order to help fund the costs of the season, he is looking or local financial sponsorship in exchange for advertising through local media and Sky Sports coverage.
Josh first took up the game of golf at the very young age of six, playing with his grandparents at their local golf club, Sandbach GC.
He soon grew fond of golf and played it regularly alongside football for his local county. At the age of 16, Josh then decided to drop his football career and pursue a more serious career in golf.
Playing mainly at Macclesfield Golf Club, he soon represented his local club winning multiple club competitions including back to back club championships along the way.
By the age of 18, Josh had gained a handicap of one and was given a lot of support within the club itself.
He later decided to take his golf career even further by playing elite amateur scratch events across the UK on the northern order of merit. Josh had a number of good finishes and achieved highly, and is now ready to take the next step in his career as a professional.
Josh is holding a sponsored golf day at Macclesfield Golf Club on March 5, and anyone wishing to play can register at Macclesfield Golf Club or contact Josh, as this will help him fund part of his tour.
