£1.6m first year is strong start for MoneyGuru
ACREDIT price comparison site with its HQ in Macclesfield is celebrating a successful first year which saw turnover top £1.6m.
Mo n e y G u r u . c o m , based on Oxford Road in Macclesfield, launched last September showcasing a range of loan and credit products across the market.
One year on, the site has now had more than a million visitors and is challenging some of its larger competitors. The site focuses on the consumer credit market rather than insurance, where most of its competitors have traditionally focused.
Owned by a specialist consumer credit fintech group, Quint Group, it brings a new focus on personal loans, credit cards, mortgages and credit reports in the comparison space.
Consumers using MoneyGuru.com benefit from its Money Matcher tool which personalises customer results by showing products that they are most likely to be approved for.
The site helps consumers avoid products they won’t get accepted for by highlighting only those that they will, in turn speeding up and improv- ing success applicants.
