Young skaters roll out horror show

-

MEMBERS of a roller skating club took to the rink dressed in their scariest garb for a special Halloween themed performance.

Skaters at Macclesfield Artistic Roller Skating club, based at MAC Activity Centre, dressed up for a special skating show for family and friends.

Coach Caroline Harper said: “Twenty skaters performed two fantastic group routines to the popular spooky tunes - Ghostbusters and Thriller!

“The skaters had all worked hard over the last few weeks, preparing for the show and synchronising their dance moves and they did a great job performing for the audience.

“Parents also put in lots of work, making appropriately ghostly and gruesome costumes.

“After the performances, there was a prize giving where Evie Porter won star skater.”

A new term of artistic skating lessons has just begun, taking place on Tuesdays during school term time.

The beginner session runs from 4.30pm to 5.20pm, with senior sessions running from 5.30pm until 6.20pm.
