- BRIAN MOORES

IF you are seeking a career in radio or the media age is no barrier, Trish Napier had a lifelong love of reggae music and an ambition to become a reggae show presenter and became a volunteer with us.

With the support and encouragement of our station manager, Nick Wright, and other members of our team Trish fulfilled her ambition with us and has now moved on to set up a project to have reggae shows on all mainstream radio stations in the UK and has also written a reggae song that will help raise funds for charity.

We have also had success with other people who started their careers with us.

Dane Swindells, who joined us in his teens, progressed to become a presenter on commercial radio and became Founder of Gig Pic and is currently a radio presenter based in the UAE and the UK.

Jess Foley and Rachel Hatton presented shows with us for a while and then went on to further their careers in both radio and TV.

Fiona Sadler went on to work for various commercial radio stations including Key 103 and Heart Radio. Community radio gives people opportunities that they may not get anywhere else.
