Stunning flower arrangements displayed in unique containers
PRESTBURY Flower Club were delighted to welcome Louise Jones from Wallasey for our November meeting.
Louise gave a demonstration titled ‘Inspired by Wood’ and our members certainly were inspired by her beautiful flower arrangements.
All the arrangements were displayed in unique containers crafted by Louise and using a variety of materials including willow, cork, rattan cane and driftwood.
Even a large hollowed out log made a splendid appearance as its centre was filled with beautiful foliage complimented by lilies, carnations and roses.
Louise certainly demonstrated how crafting containers from natural materials can make roses, lilies and flowers that we can all buy locally into something really special.
Why not join us in 2019, we are a friendly club of people who just love flowers and enjoy our monthly meetings where some of the top floral display artists in the UK demonstrate beautiful flower arrangements. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month in Prestbury Village Hall at 1.45pm.
You can attend a meeting for £5 as a visitor (tea and biscuits included).
