Hotel staff clean up for charity

-

THERE was some good clean fun at a hotel as staff raised money for their chosen charity.

Team members at Mottram Hall, on Wilmslow Road, Mottram, held a car wash and collected £100 for Francis House Children’s Hospice.

Ella Pearson, from the hotel, said: “It was a real team effort and everyone made sure that they worked hard in return for their charity donations.

“It was an afternoon well spent and we’re thrilled that we managed to raise funds for such a deserving charity as Francis House.”

Staff also headed over to the Lowry Outlet Mall, Salford Quays to decorate a bespoke Christmas Tree for Francis House. The tree will be among those displayed at the centre until December 9.

Mottram Hall, an 18th century Grade II listed building, was bought by Champneys from previous owners Q Hotels in October this year.

The new owners are now planning a £10m refurbishment including £5m spent on the spa.
