years after the General Election in 2015. It is now two years and six months after the referendum.

Perhaps her now saying a new vote would do ‘irreparable damage to the integrity of our politics’ and would ‘likely leave us no further forward’ refers equally to her snap election?

Not every engagement leads inexorably to marriage. So too, a first vote based on wild promises and incorrect information does not necessarily force Brexit on us.

Now that we know more about the actual costs of Brexit we deserve a People’s Vote, don’t we?

DO YOU KNOW RONALD?

I AM trying to find the whereabouts of Ronald Digman an old friend of many friend of many years.

I have been heavily involved in family commitments and time just slips by.

His name is Ronald Digman and he has lived in Macclesfield all his life.

He has probably moved into a nursing home but would dearly like to make contact with him. I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Please contact me at Hoylake@greenbee.net or text mobile 07827818560. A Marcroft, Address supplied park miles away.

Kaz Bask: I went to a retail park today and spent money. It was lovely not to have to worry about time and getting back to the car.

Jacki Clark: I’m sorry for those who have no option but to drive into work (inadequate bus service, removal of stations on main line) and have to pay to park everyday.

Must be a very sizeable chunk of their income and its not as if they can claim it against tax.

Tony Holmes: Parking charges reduce the viability of the very town centres that the council claim to want to help.
