Choral society lightens up for finale

PRESTBURY Choral Society’s final concert of the season is described as being a light-hearted affair.

It will take place at Prestbury Methodist Church, on Macclesfield Road, on Wednesday, June 12, from 7.30pm.

The concert will feature numbers from the Savoy Operas of Gilbert and Sullivan, Les Miserables by Schonberg, and folk music.

Ella Moran will join the choir, James Pelham will accompany on piano and Simon Mercer will conduct.
