OMPANIES across the region are being urged to submit entries for the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards before it is too late.

The awards will honour businesses of all sizes and sectors culminatin­g in a glittering ceremony at the Principal on Thursday, November 19, with tickets now on sale.

There is still time to enter what is the region’s flagship business honours event, with the deadline closing on March 6.

The event is free to enter.

Now in its 28th year, the awards are sponsored by Manchester Airport, PwC, Robert Walters, Brewin Dolphin, CMS and LDC with category sponsor, Bolton School.

Last year’s winner included Stockport headquarte­red MusicMagpi­e, north west contractor­s, Russells Constructi­on, Manchester-based Edam

Group and Rochdale’s Lancashire Farm Dairies.

M.E.N business editor Shelina Begum said: “We speak to businesses big and small across Greater Manchester about the fantastic work they are doing.

“There’s a real sense of entreprene­urship and innovation that it is taking place right across this region.

“Led by dynamic business leaders these firms are making Greater Manchester a great place to start and grow a business.

“We want to hear from those firms and celebrate their achievemen­ts.”
