FORMER Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has revealed his family farm is about to reach a new milestone after a busy Easter weekend at his Peak District estate. Kelvin and wife Liz threw open the gates to visitors for a family farm event across the weekend.

And now they’ve confirmed that they will soon be ready to sell their own farm produce to the public for the first time.

Viewers have been able to watch the journey of Kelvin and Liz on their own ITV show, Fletchers’ Family Farm, over the past few months as they navigate life as first-time farmers.

They left behind their life in Manchester to head to rolling countryside with their own farm in Wincle, near Macclesfield, in 2022 where they now live with their four children.

Now former Strictly star Kelvin has shared a “proud moment” as the farm reaches a new milestone.

Taking to Instagram stories after the busy Easter weekend, he and Liz thanked all the families that travelled from across the country to visitor the Fletchers’ Farm. He added some news about what’s next from the farm.

He went on to say: “And in other news, our infamous sausage rolls cooked by the fantastic Marcus Beam went down a treat and we were also selling our very own pork for the very first time.

loin, it made a lot of people’s Sunday roast over the weekend. I’m not just saying it but it’s the best pork I’ve ever had.

“So keep your eyes peeled, when our meat will be available you’ll be the first to know about it. It will be available very soon for a select few and we just can’t wait to share it with you.

“It’s been a three-year journey so to get to this stage where we’re tasting our own produce and letting you taste it, well, it’s a bit of a proud moment”. He added: “Fletcher Pork is a thing, and arguably it’s the best pork you can buy, native, rare breed home grown.”

Fans of the ITV show are desperate to hear if a new series is on the way, but as yet there has been no updates confirmed by the Fletchers.

»»The show last returned for a Christmas special, and the original series has been repeated on ITV1 and ITVBe in recent weeks.
