Maids 1sts slip to eighth after Halloween horror show

Maidenhead Men’s 1sts endured a horror show on Halloween weekend as they were beaten 5-0 by Henley at Altwood School.

Charlie Shaw (two), Ed Foster, Chris Green, and Rhys Joyce were all on the scoresheet as the visitors ran riot, clinically taking their chances to climb to fifth in the South Central Men's Premier Division 1 table.

Maids meanwhile slip to eighth in the standings after suffered their second defeat of the season. It’s been a mixed bag so far for Phil Cowell’s side as they've also picked up a couple of draws and one victory from their matches so far.
