Monthly church sessions for youngsters

COOKHAM RISE: A new service for children up to eight years old is beginning at Cookham Rise Methodist Church in Lower Road.

Called Prayers and Bears, it is run by the church at no charge. The one-hour session features drama, crafts, songs and food.

The service is on the second Sunday of the month from 4-5pm and is for families with young children, including those less than a year old.
