The Snow Queen

South Street Arts Centre

If The Snow Queen (the inspiration behind Disney’s Frozen) is a story of overcoming difficulties with the love and support of friends and family, then RABBLE Theatre must be the best placed company in the land to be telling this tale.

The company’s previous show, Who Killed Alfred Oliver?, was cruelly cut short by Covid earlier this month and the company are fighting to build back after a significant financial loss.

But the highly acclaimed company is delighted to be returning with a startling, exciting and hilarious family friendly adaptation of The Snow Queen, full of puppetry and adventure.

The company's general manager, Emma Lawrence “We’ve seen some tough times recently, but I can’t wait to watch this show with family – young and old - and enjoy the beauty of imaginative, live theatre.”

Hans Christian Andersen’s epic tale will take audiences on an extraordinary adventure by our heroine, the feisty 12-year-old, Gerda. Along the way you will learn to speak Crow, get to know the incredible talking reindeer, Bae and meet the evil Ice Queen herself.

The run includes a Pay What You Can performance, discounts, a signed performance and free tickets for those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend. To find out more, just email tash@rabbletheatre.com
